The Asian Pacific American Leadership Foundation (formerly the Asian Pacific American Leadership Project) was founded in 2004 as a non-partisan, non profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to help prepare and better equip Asian Pacific American (APA) leaders for public service and civic involvement.The APALF is committed to engaging the APA community in active civic participation by creating, supporting, building and strengthening the local community infrastructure to help prepare and train qualified APA leaders and emerging leaders for public service.
PROGRAM GOALS
PROGRAM OUTLINE
In 2021, APALF will hold its Leadership and Candidate Training Bootcamp with 15 to 20 participants from across California. Training shall consist of 2 sessions:
Northern California – March 13-14, 2021
Southern California – March 27-28, 2021
Training sessions will include dialogue with elected officials and political consultants as well as hands-on skills-building activities. Topics include:
Participation in all sessions is mandatory.
